Announcer: Your day starts with the “Fly Morning Rush” with Jake and Libby.
Libby: I’m so excited.
Jake: All right. We have 2 people who have registered to compete at 1800law1010.com, for the 1800LAW1010 $10,000 Trivia Challenge.
Libby: Right. We have Jimmy and Dawn on the line.
Jake: And they’re here. And by the way, if you want your chance to compete, you absolutely can. You can register right at 1800law1010.com, or at fly92.com. Let’s get into this, okay?
Libby: Let’s do it.
Jake: All right. Dawn is on the line. Dawn, are you there?
Dawn: I am here.
Libby: Hi, Dawn. Yay.
Jake: Hi, Dawn. Happy to hear from you. Hang on the line. We’re gonna get Jimmy, okay?
Dawn: Okay.
Jake: All right. Jimmy, are you there?
Jimmy: Yes, I am.
Jake: Hi, Jimmy. Say hi to Dawn.
Libby: Hi, Jimmy.
Jimmy: Hey, how are you doing, Dawn?
Dawn: Good morning, Jimmy. Happy Friday.
Jake: So polite.
Jimmy: Thank you.
Libby: Oh wow. You guys are nice to each other now…
Jake: You’re all so kind.
Libby: Right before the competition.
Jimmy: Yup, for now, yeah.
Jake: Okay. Okay. Okay. So the game goes like this, it’s the 1800LAW1010 $1000 Trivia Challenge. Today, each of you gets 60 seconds to answer 5 trivia questions. Now, in that 60 seconds, you can tell us to pass the question if you want to get to the next one, but we cannot go back to that question after it’s passed.
Libby: Right. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
Jake: If you answer all five, then it comes down to who did it quicker. We’re timing you, and we’re checking every single question.
Libby: And who got the most correct out of that five.
Jimmy: Got it.
Dawn: No pressure.
Jake: No pressure. That’s all. Ten thousand dollars, eventually. Gonna be up for grabs right now, we’re competing for 100 bucks and a chance to be on the team that will eventually get to a $10,000 Trivia Challenge.
Libby: So exciting.
Jake: Ready to play?
Jimmy: Good to go.
Dawn: Yes.
Jimmy: We’ve got to flip a coin.
Libby: Flip a coin. What do we say? Heads is Jimmy, tails is Dawn?
Jake: Fair?
Jimmy: Fair to me.
Libby: Cool.
Jake: Let’s do this. Flipping.
Libby: Flip it.
Jake: Do I flip it one more time to put it on my hand, because that’s how the referees do it?
Libby: Yeah, one more time now onto your hand.
Jake: And we’ve got heads.
Libby: That’s Jimmy.
Jake: Jimmy, you’re up first. Dawn, hang on the line, okay?
Dawn: Okay.
Jimmy: Okay. Here we go.
Jake: All right. Jimmy, can you hear us?
Jimmy: I’m with you.
Jake: All right. Dawn is on hold, so she’s completely out of it, all right? Let’s do this. We’re gonna fire it up. Our timer begins when the first question is asked. And here we go. Jimmy, who is the eldest of Queen Elizabeth’s children?
Jimmy: That would be Prince Charles.
Jake: Attorney Philip Mazzotti won a national competition for what?
Jimmy: Pass.
Jake: What does a rhinologist specialize in?
Jimmy: Plastic surgery.
Jake: Victor Mazzotti’s mother is originally from what country?
Jimmy: I’ll say, Italy.
Jake: Pop singer and former “American Idol” judge, Paula Abdul, started her career as a cheerleader for which pro sports team?
Jimmy: Los Angeles Raiders.
Jake: Those are our five questions. Do we have a stop on the clock?
Libby: Yep.
Jake: All right. We’re gonna put you on hold for just a moment. We’ll be back with you soon, Jimmy.
Jimmy: Okay. Thank you.
Jake: All right. Let’s get Dawn. Dawn, are you ready?
Dawn: I’m ready as I’m gonna be.
Libby: Cool.
Jake: All right. Jimmy is now on hold. Let’s make sure. Jimmy, are you there? Can’t hear anything. Just you and us, and everybody else listening. Okay, Dawn?
Dawn: Not nervous at all now.
Jake: All right. The timer begins now. Dawn, who is the eldest of Queen Elizabeth’s children?
Dawn: Charles.
Jake: Attorney Philip Mazzotti won a national competition for what?
Dawn: Pass.

Dawn: Italy.
Jake: Pop singer and former “American Idol” judge, Paula Abdul, started her career as a cheerleader for which pro sports team?
Dawn: Dallas Cowboys. I have no idea.
Jake: All right. We’ll hit the timer.
Dawn: I did terrible.
Jake: Dawn, stay right there for a moment. We’re gonna get Jimmy to come back, okay?
Dawn: Okay.
Jake: Jimmy, you’re there?
Jimmy: I’m here.
Jake: Now, today’s competition, we did five questions. We did 60 seconds for your 5 questions on the clock. Out of those five questions, how many of them were answered correct from Dawn?
Libby: Dawn had three correct.
Jimmy: Oh. Good job.
Jake: Jimmy, how many questions…how many questions did Jimmy have correct?
Libby: Jimmy had two correct.
Jimmy: Ouch.
Jake: Jimmy, sorry. We’re gonna let you go.
Jimmy: Okay. Hey, good to play though.
Jake: Thanks for listening.

Jake: Oh. Sorry, Jimmy. Listen to Dawn, you can hear her giggling.
Libby: Dawn, congratulations.

Dawn: I know.
Jake: Way to go. Congratulations. You won $100, plus you are moving on to the next round, which, eventually, could lead to, who knows? Maybe $10,000 for you.
Libby: I hope so.
