Brian A. Benna

My name is Brian Benna. I’m an Associate Attorney in our Workers’ Compensation Department and we represent injured workers.

It’s fantastic. They put us in a great position to succeed for ourselves and our clients. You know, my basic day is often times I’m in court at least three or four days a week representing multiple clients, injured workers only. And, you know, we’re just trying to make sure that they maintain their benefits and that they get the necessary medical treatment that they need.

I worked at another law firm for a few years before coming to Martin, Harding, and Mazzotti. Martin, Harding, and Mazzotti is pretty much the gold standard for law firms in our area. And they wanted to take a bigger role in the worker’s compensation process and representing workers’ compensation clients, so… Like I said before, they put us in a great position to succeed for our clients.

I think it’s probably… if you came to the firm, I think you probably assume that a law firm is pretty fast-paced, but we work at lightning fast pace for our clients. And from the moment you’re there until the moment you leave, all you do is think about your clients and work on your clients’ cases.

Attorney
Admitted in New York

Brian Benna was raised in the Capital Region and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1997. After high school, he attended Goucher College in Baltimore, MD, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2001. Brian subsequently graduated from Albany Law School in 2004 with a Juris Doctorate. After working in state government and business to business sales for four years, he was admitted to practice law in New York in 2008.

Brian has been providing legal counsel in Workers’ Compensation cases since 2008, solely representing injured workers. “I find my work extremely rewarding since I get to protect the rights of people who are displaced from their jobs or require necessary medical treatment. Often times, the workers’ compensation process attempts to limit benefits for injured workers, when limitations are inappropriate. I pride myself on fighting for all injured workers to ensure they are afforded every opportunity to receive these benefits.”

Brian is a proud member of the Injured Workers’ Bar Association, which works tirelessly to safeguard the rights of injured workers throughout New York State.
